Hey Guys
Yesterday my macbook crashed.
And all my pictures / Photoshop actions were lost.
Luckily i did a backup long time ago so i fixed some pictures but the ones from the shooting in the burned house and others shootings are lost.
So hopefully my best friend did a backup of them so i can get them back.
It's a terrible feeling to know that all your stuff is gone. But well i am stupid..

So now is my question did something like that every happen to you? what did u do?

Hopefully I will have the chance to create my actions new.. cross your fingers for me please

& btw. thank u for all the supporting of 'Your Love Is Wicked' and my other art :glomp:

i"m crossing my ten fingers! and my toes too then!! :D.....i lost a lot of work too lately, it was poetry...impossible to rewrite them word for word, and worst, feeling for feeling.....so i'm with you on this one Sunshine ( like always :hug: )........... :heart:

This happeded to me once, I accidently lost my recorded audio from a flash drive, you can use some program to find them back, as long as you didn't rewrite where the data was been stored.

the porblem is, that my mac doesn't recognize the hard drive when i connect it to the mac.
the hard drive is working and working but my mac can not find it :(

ich hatte das gleiche problem auch schonmal! der großteil meiner bilder habe ich retten können aber der rest wie z.b brushes, textures, actions waren alles weg. seitdem mache ich alle 2 wochen ein back-up. Brenne also alle meine neusten sachen auf dvd's. ist nur zu empfehlen weil pc sind unberechenbar haha!

und wenn du das macbook zu mac schickst wenn die festplatte kaputt ist?machen wir in der firma immer!kenn mich damit net so aus mit macs aber nen arbeitskollege hat so ne software heißt glaub timemachine da kannste alle speichersachen die man am tag mal gespeichert hat wiederholen!glaub aber das ist nur fürn server weiß aber net genau!wie er oben schon gesagt hat gibts auch progs wie man das wiederholen kann aber bekommt man nicht alles wieder!wie isn das passiert einfach so festplatte kaputt oder wie?

time machine gibt es erst ab leopard udn cih hatte tiger.. :/ naja jetzt kann ich eh ncihts mehr dran ändern.

Bei Mac musts du alle sachen (USB sticks, ex festplatten , Ipod ja alles 'auswerfen' lassen wenn du da snciht machst werden daten beschädigt.

Naja wir und apple store denken dass es davon kommt, das ich das alles einfach imemr abgezoen hab ohen es auszuwerfen.

Andere möglichkeit ist halt noch, da macbooks so heiß werden, dass iwas abgeraucht ist.

Also mein dad hat jetzt so ne firma aufgespürt da kann ichd ie festplatte hinshcicken und die versuchen die wieder zu retten aber is natürlich im 3-4 stelligen bereich.

da müsste ich gucken ob mir es das wert ist.

hachja.. dumm gelaufen einfach :(

oh ja glaub mal wie ich daraus gelernt habe. ich habe sofort brushes neu geladen/texturen udn alles 2x gesichert aufn server udn auf en externe XD aus solchen fehlern lernt man.. oder frau :D

Ahh das tut mir leid für dich und die fotos... aber normal kann apple die Daten doch eig. auf der Festplatte wieder herstellen, solange man auf die festplatte irgendwie von nem anderen rechner oder mit irgendwelchen gerätschaften zugreifen kann... also solang die nich im Arsch ist, müssten die doch eig. alles wieder herstellen können oder nich?! Konnte Maxtor einmal bei meiner festplatte auch... die hatte irgend nen fehler und dann kann nix mehr..aber die haben die festplatten daten irgendwie wiedergeholt :o

ja es gibt auch extra so programme fürn mac, der dne rest rettet aber das ding is der mac findet meine fetsplatte überhuapt nicht owbohld ie fetsplatte arbeitet :/

jenn, i think it has happpened to everyone at some time, just make sure this is the only time it happens.

It sounds obvious now but back up as soon as you take your imnages from camera, i have my images backed up three times, one to storage device (these cannot be trusted either)..and then twice to dvdrw.

ive just read your reply to someones question....i think someone with good knowledge of macs may be able to recover this..

anyway good luck...and as said just make sure it never happens again that is the important thing:)
